Scarlett's Fairytale Room
When Scarlett began climbing her crib we decided it was time for a toddler bed. She slept very well in her crib but we were constantly afraid she would fall out and hurt herself. I wanted to make the experience exciting for her so I started planning to redo her bedroom. I found the most beautiful wall paper from anewall and knew exactly how I wanted to do her room. We spent the next few weeks gathering everything and setting up Scarlett's fairytale "big-girl" bedroom. I was so happy with how it turned out. It was exactly what I had envisioned.
Scarlett was so excited when she first saw that everything had been changed. She ran to her new bed and climbed on. She gathered all of the stuffed animals on her bed and tucked them in. She then proceeded to explore the rest of her room with curious excitement. It was a pleasure to witness.
We started sleep-training her right away. The first two weeks were very difficult for her. She had a very hard time adjusting to her new sleeping situation. We are now into the third week and things are starting to look up. I will be sharing more about how we have been sleep-training Scarlett once we are done. It has been a much longer process than we had anticipated.
