The Strawberry Farm- June 2018
It's not truly summer in the Okanagan until the fruit starts fruiting (fruiting? is that right? Ripening? idk). First up: Strawberries. We decided we wanted to make a strawberry pie so we hit our local strawberry farm to grab some strawberries for our pie. We spent a bit of time hanging out at the farm and then went home to make our pie. Scarlett insisted on "eating stwaberries in the yard" when we got home so I grabbed some and we sat outside for a bit.
Apparently Scarlett really love strawberries. They didn't last more that 30 minutes and certainly never made it into the pie. We will try again next time and I'll know to buy double!
Here are some photos from our day.
